Based in beautiful West Cork, Ireland, Purrfect Puzzles publishes beautiful jigsaw puzzles designed to amaze and engage, to inspire and excite.
Founder, Murray Heasman, combined his interests in strategic games and Celtic mythology with his craft skills to produce his first strategic board game, Tara, in 2005. He commissioned Rachel Arbuckle, one of Ireland’s finest Celtic artists, to paint the playing board and was so impressed with her work that he asked her to do paintings for a range of jigsaw puzzles.
The first of these puzzles, Courting Peacocks and St Brendan the Navigator, were released in 2005. Murray and Rachel have since collaborated on a number of new releases including the stunning Carpet Page, the striking Red Dragon, the haunting Green Man and the beautiful Fuchsia Faerie.
In 2010, Murray added three new collections to the range, the Architectural Collection features selected work of world renowned photographer Achim Bednorz, the Heritage Collection includes select Irish 18th Century landscapes and the Pre-Raphaelite Collection features paintings of the preeminent artists of the Pre-Raphaelite era.
